Piazza Garibaldi is the best connected place in the whole Naples. If you intend to visit any of the archeological sites (Pompeii, Ercolano), you save yourself the travel to Piazza Garibaldi if you already stay here. Rooms in otherwise old hotel look recently renovated and include all the amenities (mini safe, mini bar etc.). Our room faced an inner courtyard which doesn't look nice, but is probably less noisy than facing the street. Breakfast buffet was tasty and attempts to satisfy both those who only eat some dolci and cappuccino and those who expect a full English breakfast. The personnel at the reception desk was very friendly and also helped with excellent suggestions of nearby places for dinner. Don't mind the African men sitting on the pavement at night - they are street vendors who are merely guarding their plot of pavement, and don't have any ill intentions.

Great rooms with all the amenities you need daily (decently sized minibar/fridge, hairdryer, air conditioning, kettle). The location is great if you're looking for easy public transport inside Naples. Breakfast was amazing and without a doubt one of the best ones I've had in a hotel for a good while. The hotel is right next to the main train station which also has busses, metro and a large food hall with lots of takeaway and dine-in restaurants which are very affordable. From this station a train to Rome is 1 hour 10 minutes, train to Pompei is 30 minutes and a train to Salerno from which you can get a ferry to the Amalfi coast is only 1 hour. However if you need peace and quiet this isn't the location for you. Naples never sleeps and there is constant traffic within arms reach from dusk till dawn. Earplugs work wonders though.

The place is in Piazza Garibaldi and is quite convenient for the station, several bus lines, and also touristic bus meeting point (all way on the right hand side in Via Leucci). The entrance of the hotel is on the right round the corner. Small entrance, opened 24h (tested at midnight sharp): there is 1 person during the night, so better you call, because they might not be there right at the entrance and see you. Clean, renovated, good rooms (I guess twentish m2) with everything new. Breakfast is downstairs (-1) and very good: just had a few things, but you can stay longer and eat more. [Note: if booking too close to the date the price goes up, but about two weeks before the prices are pretty good]

The staff at the hotel were exceptional. Luigi and Annalitta were super friendly and helpful and I enjoyed my chats with them every day. They were great sources of information and recommendations too. The room was a good size and the bed really comfortable. The buffet breakfast was also excellent and even featured home made cake! Also, the best pizza we ate in all of Naples (we ate a lot) was just around the corner in Corso Garibaldi at Pizzeria Gaetano Adamo

Arriving or departing from Napoli Centrales Train station makes this hotel an ideal place to stay. We arrived from Rome, walked across the street to drop our bags off at the hotel, and were quickly on the regional train to Pompeii. The hotel room and included breakfast were as described: spacious, clean room and bathroom with a wide variety of breakfast items and made to order espresso drinks. The receptionist staff were welcoming and helpful.
